5 million people visited Burton Barr Central Library and 14 branch locations.

850,000 people had a Phoenix Public Library card.

Patrons checked out more than 15.3 million items.

Phoenix Public Library's collection included 2 million books, DVDs and CDs.

The Library’s website (www.phoenixpubliclibrary.org) received more than 23.5 million hits.

Phoenix Public Library Foundation raised more than $500,000 for Library programs and services,
including the winter reading program, a series on the history of jazz, incentives to encourage
first grade student to acquire and use a library card, and the development of spaces at branch
libraries to encourage the Library’s youngest customers to explore books and develop a love for
reading.
